Hennepin County Solid Waste Management Fee

Dear Customer, Since 1994 Hennepin County has required all waste haulers to charge a Hennepin County Solid Waste Management Fee for all trash collection sevice provided to customers located within the County. Per the Ordinance requirement, this fee has always been listed as a separate line item on your invoice.

This article is to inform you that the Hennepin County Board of Commissioners has recently voted to increase their Solid Waste Management Fee effective April 1, 2019 as follows:

Residential rate change: from 9% to 15.5%

Hello, Everyone! Just a friendly reminder for trash, recycle, and yard waste cart placement!

Tuesday is Christmas! And since our people get the day off to celebrate, all scheduled residential trash and recycling routes from Tuesday thru Friday will run 1 day late. The same schedule applies for New Year's week. Reminder - Especially this time of year when route pick up times can change for one reason or another, we need to ask you to please have carts out by 6:00 a.m.

This lucky little kitten will now get to share Christmas with her new family. Early afternoon on Friday, November 25th as our recycle drivers came to bring their load to our Recycle Material Recovery Facility (MRF), the employees noticed a kitten fall from the truck among the heap of recycle containers. This tough little kitten worked its way up to the top of the pile.

Randy's Environmental Services announced today that it has joined the 2016 Safety Stand Down on Water, Rest, and Shade, an initiative of the National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA.) This weeklong training and awareness effort is focused on keeping collection workers safe during hot weather.

"Then the name of our Lord Jesus will be honored because of the way you live..." 2 Thess. 1:12 (NLT); There was a man who came into our lives over 30 years ago. He worked alongside us as our first employee. He stuck by us when times were really difficult. He worked hard and never complained. His loyalty was undying, and he believed in what we were doing.

Natioinal Waste & Waste Recycling Association (NWRA) Safety Stand Down week couldn’t have come at a better time. Randy’s has just completed the final edit of our Safety Handbook. In that long process we did a lot of risk assessment for our drivers on routes, the drivers and employees at our transfer station, and public drop site employees and customers.
